We've had a great time in the Rob Roy the rooms are clean and comfortable definitely very warm,the staff are lovely and very friendly, the hotel is roughly a mile from the village of aborfoyle and there is a path you can take to walk to the village as we were on a PC coaches coach trip it was well situated to get to places of interest. The hotel provided us with a good selection for breakfast and id fully recommend trying the black pudding, the rooms come with hairdryer, and there is an ironing room
This was my 2nd stay here. But my 1st with one of their Themed nights. It was bloody fantastic! Amazing 4 course meal, cracking entertainment. Friendly staff. Super comfy bed. Room was spotless. And an amazing breakfast in the morning. Already booked another themed night, and thinking of booking yet another.
The hotel area etc is very nice,the rooms are clean,we go for tribute nights,b&b ,and a 4 course meal,food very nice,well worth the price,very enjoyable night,was there just Friday 19th Dec, 1 issue I had was someone spilt a pint on the floor,quite a bit of liquid ,most people were noticing and avoiding ,some I noticed had minor slips,I reported this to 1 of the young males working their,nothing got done about it,had someone slipped and hurt themselfs I would have informed them that the staff had been informed and ignored,and if they wanted to make a claim I would witness above stated, apart from perhaps 1 or 2 clearly poor staff members they stays we have had there have all been excellent,think management need to clear up with their staff a spill us a health and safety risk that the staff member I reported it to clearly ignored, service would have been 5 star but due to issue
Brilliant Brilliant... Tribute night with a group of friends. Not our 1st time as we all love it. Hotel staff lovely, waiting on staff amazing & so hard working. Rooms comfortable & very clean. Food was lovely with good choice & hot. Breakfast lovely. This hotel knows how to keep customers happy. We will be back. Thanks
Absolutely brilliant from start to finish! We went for a 2 night entertainment break for my husband's 65th birthday and had a great weekend. Comfortable well equipped room, slept well on the comfy bed, dinner both nights outstanding, breakfasts were a little underwhelming though, food could have been a little warmer and maybe a wee bit more choice but that was minor. We had an issue with the booking on the tribute night which was swiftly rectified and we were given a free drink from the bar. Can't wait to return.
This is a rather special hotel, in a fabulous location. The rooms are adequately furnished, clean, tidy and quite acceptable. The food is excellent and the staff are very helpful, and more than willing to help. Large car park, with areas allocated for the regular coaches that come and go. Just on the edge of the Trossachs National Park, the scenery is breathtaking.
Spent Christmas here and it was wonderful,we even got a present on Christmas day and the food was delicious, I have never seen a buffet like the one we had Christmas night it was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble highly recommended
Stayed here on a coach trip, lovely friendly welcome. Room was clean and spacious with a nice view over the fields. Food was good, although a limited menu it was different choices every evening and was well presented and tasty. Staff were great, pleasant, polite and friendly. A great place for a peaceful relaxing break.
